It is not hard to realize that life could have been very different. There are so many seemingly random moments and decisions that could have directed life in a different direction.
Of course, random or not, life has to take some path to go forward and that's a given. But why this path? For some it may because of god, for others because of just pure untainted luck. The point, however, is that life could have easily been worse or better, and all that separates us from those alternative lives might simply be luck.
There is much to be celebrated and loved in life, for all (or many) of the good things might easily have not been. Life might hold more value if we recognize that.
