The skeptic looked back and saw cynicism, anger and pessimism in the teenagers eyes. He wished he could say more, do more. But in the end he just gave the teenager a silent nod of acknowledgement and looked forward.
And not surprisingly he received a similar grim nod from the eyes in front of him.
