The Monk could sense the approaching footsteps.
"Ah, so you are finally back," he smiled, eyes still closed. "Been expecting you. What brings you back this time, my friend?"
The Skeptic ignored the hint of amusement in the question.
"Same as last time."
"Of course. And do you expect a different answer this time? The players might have changed but the game remains the same. And so doi you. Did you find closure this time?"
"I think I heard what was thought had to be said. What it really is ... I cannot not know."
"Some games you simply can not win. But play you must. And played you have. And play you must continue to."
He felt foolish for coming for advice. At least he tried.
"Till next time. Good luck ...," the Monk whispered as the footsteps receded.
